After visiting The Apple Store in Walnut Creek, CA to do a warranty replacement of my iPhone 3G I decided to eliminate applications that didn’t deserved to remain on the device. I have accumulated multiple check-in location apps, with Foursquare being the latest, and none have really reigned supreme. I decided I would put all the apps on my iPhone’s main page and pit them against each other. The Check-In Battle will face off between Foursquare, Gowalla, Brightkite, Loopt, Yelp, Twitter and with a surprise contender at the end.
Slumdog Millionaire

FOUR & 1/2 STARS
I walked out of the theatre pleasantly surprised. The movie is defiantly carried by Dev Patel and his big eyes. You can most certainly feel the tension from the character when he’s doing nothing but staring across the set at the “Millionaire” host played by Anil Kapoor. The film was edited extremely well with the timeline shifting back and forth between his youth growing up surviving the streets of Mumbai and his current situation of Questions and Answers. Well scripted and creatively subtitled in parts. Slumdog Millionaire was adapted from the novel “Q&A”.
“This is Boyle’s masterpiece – a stunningly original piece of film-making. - anhedonia” user review from IMDb
I ran out the door to see this movie last minute when I got the call from a friend and I’m really glad I did.
